When I first joined Sweet Adelines in 1987 I figured out very quickly what my goal was and who to beat. Well, I've realized one of those goals so now it's on to loftier goals. Seems I'm never satisfied but I know we can do it. 690 is a great place to start, don't you think.

My thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make thia happen and to our leaders for their vision.

What an AWESOME night!!!! There was PRIDE on the stage and even more in the audience. I was confident during the competition and call-off that you could do it. It wasn't IF we could but WHEN we would. Can't wait until Nashville - keep that PRIDE ALIVE.

It is hard to know what to say when a dream begins to come true. For all of you it has been hard work, dedication, consistency (seems I have heard that word some where before....), determination and of course talent!

I have been privileged to watch you over the last decade or so (yes it has been almost 15 years for me too!) and to say I am proud of the Pride, is just a little of what I feel. I so wish I could have been with you on your very special night in Covington, but I was there in spirit and of course my little sister, aka the "mean sister", (setting the record straight, you see) made sure I had the latest news at 2:15 am Central European Time.

Before I ramble on forever let me say that I will be there with you to share every moment in Nashville and celebrate with you! However, my BIGGEST fear is now that Of Course you will make something monumental happen and my sweet young son will starve as I gather money to pay for your lobster dinner!!!!!!

I love you all and think of you often. Ladies, you are a real class act and I am proud to be a small part of the Pride of KY Chorus also known as the LET THEM EAT STEAK phenomenon.

See you all in July where our master chefs , Francella and Debbie, will of course serve 'em up for the WINNERS.

Love, Kate

What an awesome chorus! Not only a great barbershop group (can you say 690?), but also the kindest, most generous and caring people around. Thank each one of you for a wonderful weekend.

I am so glad I was able to attend the regional contest. It was especially exciting because the BEST chorus won. Whoopee! Good luck in Nashville. Maybe I'll be there too.
